Edit: upload a photo and describe changes. Quality controls total resolution after scaling. For photorealistic results, ask for natural light, realistic textures, and “shot on camera” — avoid “cartoon” or “illustration”.

For more photorealistic results, describe light and materials as in real life (e.g. soft daylight, natural stone texture, photo-like depth of field). Avoid asking for “drawn” or “cartoon” styles. Increase Quality for fine details.

Higher values increase total output resolution while keeping the uploaded aspect ratio.

Example prompt

Turn this photo into a cozy Christmas card design: subjects kept clearly recognizable and natural, warm indoor holiday setting, softly falling snow or string-light bokeh behind them, deep green and red accents with gold highlights, faces lit warmly and evenly, a clean empty band at the bottom for a handwritten greeting, printed-card look with subtle paper grain, no added text, no watermark, no extra people.

Paste it into the Prompt field above and adjust the details to fit your task.

The holiday card, without the holiday photo shoot

Every year the same problem: the matching-sweaters session costs more than the cards, and half the family cannot be in one room at the same time. Upload the photo you already have — last summer, a birthday, a group shot from two years ago — and the tool dresses it for the season: warm light, snow or bokeh behind the subjects, red and gold accents, and an empty band along the bottom for your own line.

Works for

  • Family cards from an old group photo nobody wants to reshoot.
  • Small business cards — send the same treatment to a product shot instead of a face.
  • Matching sets: run one photo per household member and combine into a multi-frame card.

Getting a good result

Keep faces front-facing and evenly lit in the source, avoid photos where people are far away and tiny, and regenerate — at per-image pricing, four attempts cost less than one coffee. If the source background is a mess, remove it first.

Related tools

The birthday card tool uses the same layout logic for other occasions; upscaling before printing keeps faces sharp at A5.

FAQ

Can it write Merry Christmas on the card?

It can try, but image models misspell short display text often enough that the reliable workflow is to leave the greeting area clean and type or write it yourself afterward. That is also what makes the card look printed rather than generated.

Is it too early or too late in the season?

Cards go out in November and December; the tool is available all year, and the same prompt works for any winter-holiday look you want.
